5 Ways to Center with CSS! [VOICE TUTORIAL]

08:45
Hey! In this video I show you 5 different and equally useful ways to center different types of content with CSS! Method #1 - 0:30 Written Like: display: block; margin: 0 auto; Description: This method of centering is by far the one that I use the most. It is a simple, reliable and more of all quick way to center any sort of content, not just text. Method #2 - 2:05 Written Like: display: flex; align-items: center; justify-content center; Description: The flex property is one of the lesser known CSS properties and I think this is down to it being really temperamental. It takes a little practice to get good at but when you do, it's super powerful and you'll use it everyday. It also allows you to center without defining the width of the content. Method #3 - 3:50 Written Like: position: absolute; left: 50%; transform: translate -50%, 0; Put the -50%, 0 in brackets. YouTube wouldn't let me. Description: This is probably my second or third favourite means of centering with CSS and it seems crazy that it was set up to work this way. By setting the left property to 50% and then using transform to drag the content back by 50% of it's own width, it allows for content to be centered every time. This can be used for more than just text also! Method #4 - 5:30 Written Like: Type center in angle brackets and close it off. Anything inside will be centered. YouTube won't let me type angle brackets here. Description: I would not recommend this for every piece of content that you need to be centered. It has known compatibility issues with older browsers and website tests will flag this as being outdated. It is good however if you're testing as it's quick, easy to write and remember and to be honest, it works! Method #5 - 6:45 Written Like: text-align: center; Description: This is pure and simple CSS. This method is limited to just text but it is easy to write and will center your text with just this one parameter! CSS Lesson 5 - CSS Borders, Margin and Padding

10:36
CSS Borders: CSS attribute, allow you to completely customize the borders that appear around HTML elements. With HTML, it used to be impossible to place a border around an element, except for the table. Border-style Border-width Border-color Border Styles: The border-style property specifies what kind of border to display. The following values are allowed: dotted  dashed  solid  double  groove  ridge inset  outset  none  hidden  Border-color: You customize the Border colors using css property called border-color. Margins: A margin defines the white space around an HTML element's border. CSS has properties for specifying the margin for each side of an element: margin-top margin-right margin-bottom margin-left All the margin properties can have the following values: auto - the browser calculates the margin length - specifies a margin in px, pt, cm, etc. inherit - specifies that the margin should be inherited from the parent element. CSS Padding:: A padding is the space between an element's border and the content within it. Padding - Individual Sides:- CSS has properties for specifying the padding for each side of an element: padding-top padding-right padding-bottom padding-left All the padding properties can have the following values: length - specifies a padding in px, pt, cm, etc. inherit - specifies that the padding should be inherited from the parent element CSS Height and Width: The Height and width properties are used to set the height and width of an element. Setting the width of a block-level element will prevent it from stretching out to the edges of its container.  max-width:-By using this Css property we can set max width of the element. ankpro ankpro training Asp.net MVC C# C sharp Bangalore Rajajinagar Selenium Coded UI Mobile automation testing Mobile testing JQuery JavaScript .Net

ClickFunnels: How to Adjust Margins On Elements (Using Custom CSS)

07:57
If you need help with a specific issue and want me to personally take a look at your setup, I can help! Check out the 'My Services' section of my blog: https://amarketingessentials.com/my-services/ What problems excess margins can sometimes give you: 0:25 How to change margins on elements: 1:13 Other benefits of being able to adjust margins: 4:23 Hey all! In our previous video - https://youtu.be/HEeUKJnWYUE, we have setup transparency and hover effects in our ClickFunnels and identified a potential problem when inserting a single small image into your page - the margins were expanded way too far and we needed to find a way to manually adjust them. Although already a good step towards our affiliate marketing, there are still a few things we can make better. In THIS video, this is exactly what we tackle - adjusting margins on any element in ClickFunnels so that we can remove or add space. Just like in our previous video, we need to first select the element from which margins we want to adjust, and then copy the custom CSS ID provided. We then open the 'custom CSS" tab at the top left (if using editor version 2) and simply paste that element ID on the next available line. We then add our braces and input the command 'margin-top', 'margin-bottom', 'margin-left', or 'margin-right', depending on where we want to adjust our margins. We follow that command up with double dots and input the amount in pixels that we want to adjust the space by. So if I want to increase margins by 100 pixels from the right side, I will say 'margin-right: 100px'. That should shift my element slightly to the left as it has an additional 100 pixels worth of space on the right. If you want to squeeze an element in, we should add pixels of margins from the right AND left, by saying 'margin-right: 100px; margin-left: 100px', or whatever amount you want. This is especially useful when shifting entire sections, because that way your optin form will be on the right or left, leaving nice space for an image on the opposite side. This also looks more customizable and thus unique, since every ClickFunnels page has their sections put strictly in the middle. So you will stand out when doing your affiliate marketing sales! That's it! Please subscribe and stay tuned for future videos where go over the technical how-to's and/or dig deeper into other affiliate marketing tools! How To Use CSS Margin-Bottom

How To Use CSS Margin-Bottom https://youtu.be/8q1d6ML4R24 The CSS margin bottom property defines the amount of space between the bottom of one element and the top of another. Margin-bottom is most commonly defined using pixels and percentages. CSS margins are different from padding in that margins apply space outside of an element and padding applies space within an element. That's all there is to it. I hope this video helps you! CSS is used to create boxes with arrows that point towards content. These are often used as tooltips and quick instructions that pop up to guide you along a website. This tutorial shows how to create these divs with arrows, and the logic behind the CSS code. Here's the code block used in this tutorial: //The main box .arrowBox{ width: 200px; height: 30px; background-color: #ffc728; border-radius: 5px; position: fixed; top: 3em; left: 230px; padding: 10px; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; color: #313333; text-align: center; } //The arrow pointer .arrowBox:after{ content: ' '; width: 0px; height: 0px; border-top: 10px solid #ffc728; border-left: 10px solid transparent; border-bottom:10px solid transparent; border-right:10px solid transparent; position: absolute; left: 50%; top: 100%; margin-left: -10px; } Background music by: YouTube Free Music (End of Summer, and Pas de Deux)

How to center an image in HTML

05:13
Hey guys, my book CSS Visual Dictionary – https://www.amazon.com/dp/1983065633 Explains all of this and more with 150+ visual diagrams in detail! In this tutorial I am going to briefly go over how to center align an image in HTML. Placing the image in the middle of your page, can be done via inline CSS "style" attribute within the element tag. Centered images can also be done by wrapping the element in "center" tags. The result of this code is an image nicely aligned to the middle of the screen in your browser. All you need to start is your favorite text editor and Chrome (or other) browser. You can use the HTML center tag, but more commonly web developers use style attribute to accomplish the same task. The quick HTML way is, just be careful because although it is becoming outdated in HTML5 it will still work. <center><img src = "lion.jpg"></center> Using CSS attribute: <img src = "lion.jpg" style = "display:block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"> or <img src = "lion.jpg" style = "display: block; margin: 0 auto;"> Or use the same CSS code within "style" attribute, but move it to your style tag inside the head tag, in your HTML page: <style type = "text/css"> img { display: block; margin: 0 auto; } </style>

Margin-top is most commonly defined using pixels and percentages. CSS margins are different from padding in that margins apply space outside of an element and padding applies space within an element.
